LEGO® Holiday Market Lighting

design one lighting was brought on by XD Agency to create a cheerful atmosphere at the LEGO® Holiday Market event with light.

The event was held in a vacant commercial center, and required creative lighting solutions to bring the space fully to life. The principal goals were to curate a sense of seasonal wintry cold in the surrounding area while making the main floor cozy and welcoming; and of course to highlight the LEGO® merchandise on display. These were achieved by bouncing cool blue wash fixtures against the ceiling, resulting in a frosty aura effect, fading for as far as the eye could see, while classic leaf breakup gobos scattering the main floor mixed with warm white uplighting on pine trees made children and parents alike feel snug and welcomed.

Modular tube light fixtures and practical lamps animated the LEGO® market "storefronts," and strategically placed downlights called attention to featured products, all as artificial snow elegantly captured crossing beams of light, bringing smiles and providing interactive excitement to attendees. The seamless combination of all these elements made for a successfully executed lighting design, and an adorable event enjoyed by thousands during the busy holiday shopping season.

The LEGO® Holiday Market was a fantastic reminder of how young and old alike can be mesmerized and cheered by well-designed lighting effects!
