After a successful launch across the Seine in Paris during the Summer of 2023, the etherial creation by lighting designer and artist Christien Methot, LIGHT:BRIDGE returned in an exciting new form at Miami's Bass Museum.

LIGHT:BRIDGE at the Bass Museum

LIGHT:BRIDGE Refraction was brought to the Bass Museum by Michelle M. Collins of A\N/A (A Non-Agency) for a members-only night of immersive interactions, featuring work from üüps, Mikihumo, I’ve Been Framed, and more. The iconic parallel beams of LIGHT:BRIDGE Refraction cleverly framed the space while simultaneously creating a sense of infinity, infusing the entire night with a feeling of fun and otherworldliness.

Multi-dimensionality set apart LIGHT:BRIDGE Refraction from previous iterations. Distinct planes of parallel beams of light made up this version of LIGHT:BRIDGE, making the experience even more immersive. As guests explored the space, they became part of the installation themselves, as their bodies and garments interrupted, reflected, and refracted the beams — making this the most dynamic LIGHT:BRIDGE installation to date.
